Benvenuti!

Vista la crescente popolazione di studenti italiani a Loughborough e l'interesse verso la nostra cultura, nel novembre 2017 è stata fondata la nostra prima society tutta italiana a Loughborough Students' Union.

Lo scopo della società è di contribuire e migliorare l'esperienza universitaria, fornendo una base di appoggio e svago che affianchi gli studi. Per molti studenti, Loughborough corrisponde alla prima meta lontano da casa... ed è in questi momenti di malinconia e tristezza che l'Italian Society vuole esserti vicino con tanto cibo e tanto calore!

Per chi invece volesse semplicemente imparare di più dell'Italia o l'italiano, questa è la society che fa per te!

The Italian Society wants to provide any student who identifies as Italian, speaks Italian or simply wants to approach and learn the cultural and linguistic aspects of Italy with a recreational, informal and warming environment.  

Given the existence of other societies of national character, and the increasing number of Italian students joining Loughborough every year, the Italian Society wants to add to the multinational framework of societies that LSU has.

It consists of non-binding gatherings and meetings that would focus on the use of the Italian language and the maintenance of traditions through meals, socials, sport and film-watching, having at its core the aim of creating an Italian hub within Loughborough University.
